Where In The Hell Is My "UNLIKE" Button!

President Pansy Ass joined Facebook.

One of the more productive things I could think of to do with what's going on these days it ain't.

Hello, Facebook! I finally got my very own page. I hope you’ll think of this as a place where we can have real conversations about the most important issues facing our country – a place where you can hear directly from me, and share your own thoughts and stories. (You can expect some just-for-fun stuff, too.)
I’m kicking it off by inviting you to take a walk with me in my backyard – something I try to do at the end of the day before I head in for dinner. I say this often, but...

"Hello, Facebook! I finally got my very own page."
That's the top of the first post written by one of Facebook's newest users — a man who identifies himself as a "dad, husband," and, oh yeah, "44th President of the United States."
President Obama finally has his very own Facebook page: facebook.com/potus.
That's not to say Obama hasn't had a heavy Facebook presence for years. His 2008 campaign was the first to aggressively use social media to woo and organize supporters, and there's been a White House page for a while.

Narcissistic bastard.
He probably reads the comments telling him how great he is to help him sleep at night.

Fuck him.

Kids These Days

I Lol'ed at this one, sounds like something me and my friends would have done back in the day.

Police investigating multiple Smart Cars tipped in Denver

Denver police discovered an urban version of cow tipping early Sunday after vandals turned over Smart Cars in five locations.

Police are looking for four men after "five or six" Smart Cars were tipped over, said police spokeswoman Mary McIver. The vandals struck at Ellsworth Avenue, and Pennsylvania Street, Ellsworth and Pearl Street, Alameda Avenue and Downing Street, Clarkson Street and Bayaud Avenue, and Alameda Avenue and Franklin Street.

"It sounds like somebody was driving around looking for them," McIver said. "Somebody saw four males." Police received a report of the incident at 12:20 a.m., McIver said.

What a Smart Car may look like after these fiends strike,

Putting Gun Ownership Into Perspective

I got this in an Email and had to share.

Gun & Ammo Collectors by State

You may have heard on the news about a Southern California man who was put under 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100 guns and allegedly had 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home.
By Southern California standards, someone owning 100,000 rounds is considered "mentally unstable".
In Michigan, he'd be called "The last white guy still living in Detroit".
In Nevada, he'd be called "an avid gun collector".
In Arkansas, he'd be called "a novice gun collector".
In Utah and Florida he'd be called "moderately well prepared", but they'd probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food.
In Kansas, he'd be "A guy down the road you would want to have for a friend".
In Montana, he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy".
In Idaho, he'd be called "The gubernatorial candidate".
In Georgia, he'd be called "an eligible bachelor".
In North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and South Carolina he would be called "a deer hunting buddy".
And in Texas he'd just be "Bob, who's a little short on ammo ”.

0 To 200 MPH In 12.8 Seconds, Only Four Hennesey Venom GT's To Be Built

You basically will need to have three things to do that.
Way too much money, be lucky enough to get one of the four being built and a wheelbarrow to carry your balls around in if you live after trying to drive it that fast.

One of the fastest cars on the planet is the Hennessey Venom GT, but now the tuning company has decided it wants to be the absolute fastest ─ and a more powerful version is the key.
Hennessey Performance Engineering took a more deranged version of the Venom GT hypercar to the 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas, complete with a whopping 1,451bhp. That makes the Bugatti Veyron look a bit feeble.
Company founder John Hennessey says "being the fastest matters", which would explain why he has taken the boost pressure of the 7.0-litre twin-turbo V8 monster from 19psi to 25psi by using E85 Flexifuel.
Let's not dwell on the tuning specifics because what we all really care about is how fast the revised Venom GT is. Think "I'm going to die" fast. 0-60mph is said to take 2.4 seconds, 0-100mph in 4.4 seconds and 0-200mph in 12.8 seconds.
As for a quarter-mile, that comes and goes in 9.4 seconds and it will cross the line at a whopping 167mph. Find a runway long enough and Hennessey claims a top speed of 280mph – beyond that of the world's fastest production car, the aforementioned Veyron.
Those just reaching for the cheque book should know only four will be built in 2017 and that the price tag is likely to include many zeros ─ assuming, of course, you can even get on the list and have testicles large enough to drive it.

The Venom GT is built upon a Lotus Exige, in case you were wondering, but by the time Hennessey is finished with the British pocket rocket and the American monster have little in common.

Russia Evacuates 11,000 Of It's Tourists Out Of Egypt In 24 Hours!

Say what you will about the Russians but those people do not fuck around when they are pissed off.
Evacuating eleven thousand people in twenty four hours is an extraordinary feat.

They aren't done yet but one thing is for damn sure, they just sent an unmistakeable message to the Egyptians.

Next on the agenda I will assume is an even more pointed memo heading to the bunch of terrorist assholes who are claiming to have blown a passenger jet full of people out of the sky last week, most of them being Russian.

Russia has a fairly respectable record of just killing shitheads like that, by the truck load.

Russia has returned 11,000 of its tourists from Egypt in the last 24 hours in response to the plane crash in the Sinai Peninsula a week ago, RIA news agency said on Sunday, but tens of thousands more are waiting for flights home. The chief Egyptian investigator into the crash of the Russian airliner on Oct. 31 which killed all 224 people on board said his team was considering all scenarios for the cause of the tragedy after reporting a noise registered in the last seconds of the flight recording. Western countries suspect a bomb was planted by militants.
A leading airline predicted the disaster will lead to stringent aviation security worldwide.
Thousands of mostly Russian and British tourists are stranded at Sharm al-Sheikh airport, where the Airbus (AIR.PA) A321 took off for St Petersburg before crashing 23 minutes into the flight.

Snip

Around 80,000 Russians were left in Egypt after the Kremlin grounded all flights to the country on Friday following the crash, due to security concerns.
A British official said on Saturday it could take 10 days for all British tourists to be flown home.
The crash occurred when the auto-pilot was engaged. Debris was scattered over a 13-km (8-mile) area "which is consistent with an in-flight break-up", said Ayman al-Muqaddam, head of the investigation committee.
Snip

Islamic State militants fighting security forces in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula have said they brought down the aircraft as revenge for Russian air strikes against Islamist fighters in Syria, where Islamic State controls large areas in the east and north of the country. They said they would eventually tell the world how they carried out the attack.
If the group was responsible, it would have carried out one of the highest profile killings since al Qaeda flew passenger planes into New York's World Trade Center in September 2001.

The Russians have battlefield ready tactical nukes if they want to get real fucking serious about this kind of shit and more than likely have a pretty damn good idea where to lob them for maximum effect against ISIS any time they feel the need.

I'm sure the rest of the world would go all kinds of ape shit if they used them but you can bet the farm that there wouldn't be any more attempts on Russian civilians after that, ever, and Russia is pretty much used to ignoring what anybody else thinks.

I'm down with that and as a matter of fact, I think a whole bunch of the spineless fucking weasels we have in our government right now should be taking notes.

The Holidays Approach

I am seeing Christmas shit all over the place already.

Right on schedule my inner Grinch recoils at the assault on my senses.

There is one redeeming aspect to the whole fiasco though.
It means the Holiday goodies are about to start coming.

Batmobile Creator George Barris Dies at 89

RIP George, the Batmobile is probably the most easily recognized car in the world.

The man did fabulous work and was quite the visionary.
His cars are legendary and worth millions now.

George Barris, the car designer who created the iconic 1966 Batmobile for the Batman television series, has died, according to a Facebook post  written by his son, Brett Barris. He was 89.
"Sorry to have to post that my father, legendary kustom car king George Barris, has moved to the bigger garage in the sky," Brett Barris wrote. "He passed on peacefully in his sleep at 2:45 am. He was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. He lived his life they way he wanted til the end. He would want everyone to celebrate the passion he had for life and for what he created for all to enjoy."
Barris was born in Chicago in 1925 but he moved to Northern California as a child, graduating from San Juan High School in Citrus Heights (near Sacramento).
Barris began building model cars and customizing at an early age. The first car he and his brother Sam (who was later his business partner) made was from a 1925 Buick and in high school he created his first full custom using a 1936 Ford convertible as the base. Barris made a name for himself when he moved to Los Angeles after World War II, launching Barris Kustom Industries with Sam. His first shop was on Compton Avenue but for a long time his shop has been located in North Hollywood.
The popularity of his cars caught the eye of Hollywood, and his first film assignments included work on cars for Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest, 1958's High School Confidential and 1960’s The Time Machine.
His biggest impact occurred when ABC asked him to create a signature vehicle for Batman. Barris rolled out a Lincoln concept car called the Lincoln Futura that he had kept in storage for about decade and used that as his base, constructing the car in just 15 days.
It was built for $15,000, though Barris purchased the Futura for $1. Barris kept the car in his personal collection and in 2013 sold the car at auction for $4.6 million.

A couple more he built that you of a certain age bracket may recall.

If you think these cars were just props or Trailer Queens?

Umm, no.

California Proposes New Execution Method For Capital Crimes

I guess the old method of Lethal Injection didn't cut it anymore.

California proposes new single-drug method for executions

California unveiled a new method for executing condemned prisoners Friday, proposing a single-drug lethal injection protocol that could restart capital punishment after a 10-year hiatus.
The proposal came as a result of a lawsuit filed against the state by crime victims. A settlement of the suit, brought by the Criminal Justice Legal Foundation, required the state to devise a lethal injection method by this month.
Executions are not likely to resume immediately, however. Public vetting could take a year, and court challenges may follow. Voters next year also may see one or more ballot measures on the death penalty.
The single-drug protocol proposed by Gov. Jerry Brown’s administration would replace the former three-chemical method, struck down by a federal judge in 2006 who said it could cause inhumane suffering if one of the drugs failed to work.

Obama Rejects Keystone Pipeline

There has been a lot of time, money and energy invested in this little deal.

TransCanada will more than likely just try to wait him out and try again with another administration.

President Obama announced Friday that he was rejecting the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline project because it wouldn’t serve U.S. interests, dismissing its potential economic benefits as insignificant in the long run as he sought to close a long-running chapter in the political fight over global warming.
“For years, the Keystone pipeline has occupied what I frankly consider an overinflated role in our political discourse,” Obama told reporters at the White House. “It became a symbol too often used as a campaign cudgel by both parties rather than a serious policy matter.”
The pipeline began as a project nearly a decade ago to carry more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil a day from Canada to U.S. Gulf Coast refineries, as a shortcut to bring it to market more quickly. But it grew over time into a political symbol: for opponents, of energy interests run amok, and for backers, of the zealous overreach of environmental advocates.

His announcement came days after TransCanada, the company building the pipeline, asked that its permit application be put on hold while another challenge to the project played out in Nebraska. It had become increasingly clear in recent months that Obama would probably reject the pipeline, and TransCanada’s request was widely seen as a way to buy time until a more politically friendly atmosphere prevailed, including a new administration moving into the White House after the 2016 presidential election.
Environmentalists “are well aware that the next president could undo all this, but this is a day of celebration,” said Bill McKibben, cofounder of the environmental group 350.org, in a statement.

Like I said, they have a lot invested in this project already,
