An Islamic State militant carried out a public "execution" of his mother because she asked him to leave the group, activists say.

Ali Saqr, 21, killed his mother, Lena al-Qasem, 45, outside the post office in Raqqa, Syria, eyewitnesses said.

Raqqa has served as IS' de facto capital since the group captured the city in August 2013.

IS does not tolerate any dissent and imposes brutal punishments, often carried out in public.

The UK-based monitoring group, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) and the activist group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently reported the incident.

Lena al-Qasem had reportedly told her son that the US-led military alliance fighting IS would "wipe out" the group, and tried to convince him to leave the city with her.

Her son is then said to have informed the group of her comment, and they ordered her killed.

Ali Saqr is reported to have shot her outside the post office where she worked, in front of hundreds of people.

There is only one way to deal with fanatical assholes like these, ask the Japanese how it worked out for them.

All 10 S&P 500 sectors were in negative territory as technology and materials plunged more than 2%.

When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over a health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a democratic controlled congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million in cost for studies, promotion, and other efforts.



Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting

a female attorney general. Her first two selections

were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to

withdraw their names from consideration. Next she

chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as

“my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that

Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch

Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens

of deaths of women and children.



Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the

head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was

her selection. When a little probing led to the

discovery of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to

be withdrawn from consideration.



Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to

make some more recommendations. She chose former law

partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster

for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the

Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel

went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and

Kennedy was forced to resign.



Many younger votes will have no knowledge of

“Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered

travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and

the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She

managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired.

This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and

caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee,

Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the

enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A

jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours.



Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to

recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the

position of Director of White House security. When

Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of

about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the

widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly

Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone,

and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White

House. Following this debacle, the FBI closed its

White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of

service to seven presidents.



Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of

sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put

in charge of the “bimbo eruption” and scandal

defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the

debacle was:



She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones

lawsuit. After the Starr investigation they settled

with Ms. Jones.



She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led

to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After

$80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's

investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill

lying about and later admitting his affairs.



Hillary’s devious game plan resulted in Bill losing his

license to practice law for 'lying under oath' to a

grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House

of Representatives.



Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of

justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do

not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I

don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.



After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return

an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and

artwork that she had stolen.



What a swell party – ready for another four or eight year

of this type low-life mess?



Now we are exposed to the destruction of possibly

incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State

and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation

– we have no idea what shoe will fall next. But to

her loyal fans - “what difference does it make?”



Electing Hillary Clinton president would be like granting

Satan absolution and giving him the keys to heaven!



And just think, since leaving the White House, the Clinton's, through 2014,

have made $221 million and BOTH are still drawing taxpayer funded U. S.

Government pensions.

I can only speak for myself but I have had all the political gamesmanship horse shit I am going to take over this Gun Control issue.

I have a God given right to defend myself by any means necessary with whatever tools are most effective and there isn't a political hack or  Liberal fucking weenie on this planet who is going to tell me different.

Take your feeble attempts at restricting my right and stick them in your ass.

There are already so many gun laws on the books that you can't count them all and they do absolutely nothing to stop crime.
This fact is proven on a daily basis. As a matter of fact, gun control laws actually make crime worse because by definition, criminals do not pay any attention to the laws and law abiding citizens are then ham strung and can't defend themselves. See my opening statement for my thoughts on that matter.
So talk all you want Obama and issue as many Presidential Orders as you want too, I am done listening to your silly ass.

Seeking momentum on gun control, Obama to take case to public

 

President Barack Obama will take his case for new gun control measures directly to the American people this week while proposing new executive actions in a final big effort to reduce gun violence during his last year in office.

Obama meets with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Monday to discuss his administration's options for tightening gun rules without going through the Republican-controlled Congress, which does not support the wide-ranging legislative changes that the Democratic president prefers.

Although the White House has not spelled out his plans specifically, they are expected to include measures that would require more gun sellers to become licensed dealers and conduct background checks on buyers.

Guns are a potent issue in U.S. politics. The right to bear arms is protected by the U.S. Constitution, and the National Rifle Association, the top U.S. gun rights group, is feared and respected in Washington for its ability to mobilize gun owners. Congress has not approved major gun-control legislation since the 1990s.

Republicans have roundly criticized the president's plans, calling them an overreach of his executive authority.

"This president wants to act as if he's a king, as if he's a dictator," New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a Republican presidential candidate, said on “Fox News Sunday.” "This is going to be another illegal executive action, which I'm sure will be rejected by the courts."

Obama will take part in a one-hour town hall-style question-and-answer session on gun control broadcast on CNN at 8 p.m. EST on Thursday, the White House said.

The event, moderated by anchor Anderson Cooper, will give Obama a chance to respond to criticism and raise public support for the measures before his State of the Union address on Jan. 12.

Two things here, fuck Anderson Cooper for one and Fuck Obama for thinking he can just dictate laws he pulls out of his ass for the other.

Anderson Cooper is a paid government propaganda shill who's thinly veiled cover is billed as being employed by a "News Service".

There is no news in this country that is not vetted by the government first, if you didn't already know that then you can thank me for pointing out the obvious to you.

Second here, Presidential Orders or Directives are not "Laws" all by themselves per se, they can only affect laws already passed by Congress. They are modifiers and then only if they are later found to have merit under the Constitution, which takes time.

So Obama can sign paper after paper making his little declarations and we probably won't find out whether or not they have any legal weight to them until long after the Muslim loving bastard is gone from office.

I ain't holding my breath because as I said before, I could care less what he has to say about the matter at this point.

What he is going to accomplish here is a booming Black Market in the gun trade area as a result of this and we can pin that little fact right up next to his award for being the most prolific gun salesman in history.

Not Something You See Every Day Around Here

I woke up and looked outside and see that it snowed around here last night, couple of inches maybe.

As I am sitting here pondering my navel and drinking coffee I start hearing somebody revving the shit out of an engine somewhere nearby but I'm not paying a lot of attention to it.

Next thing I know I hear this engine go screaming past the house out front.

So I get off my dead ass to go see what the fuck is going on just in time to see this guy on a snowmobile go flying back down the street the other way.

I  ran back to grab my phone to try and get a picture because he had come back again and stopped right in front of my house but by the time I got back to the window all that was left was a puff of Two Stroke smoke and he was long gone.

That's a new one.

Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s three sons and “about 150” militiamen have occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge HQ to protest the pending imprisonment of two Oregon ranchers accused of arson, arguing the federal government has no authority in local cases.

“We’re going to be freeing these lands up, and getting ranchers back to ranching, getting the loggers back to logging, getting the miners back to mining where they could do it under the protection of the people and not be afraid of this tyranny that’s been set upon them,” Ammon Bundy, who appears to be the leader of the group, said in a Facebook video posted by Sarah Dee Spurlock on Saturday.
Bundy appears to be standing at the scene of the takeover, surrounded by several men in military-style uniforms with rifles and hand-held radios.

The rancher points out that Harney County used to be the richest in state, and is now the poorest. His radical proposal to solve the situation is to have armed “patriots” come and live in a de-facto self-rule zone independent of the federal authorities.

Hammonds case

The Pendleton, Oregon jury found the Hammonds guilty of the arsons in June 2012. Both were charged with igniting a series of fires on lands managed by the BLM.

Hammond Ranches has about 12,000 acres in the Diamond-Frenchglen area. Their livelihood is running cattle during the winter. Two years ago, the ranch used 26,420 acres of land belonging to the BLM for summer grazing.

Supporters of the Hammonds believe they were treated unconstitutionally because the two were convicted of arson under a provision of an expansive federal law punishing terrorism. They both served their prison terms for 2001 and 2006 fires, but were then told by appellate judges they had to go back to prison to serve more.

Eastern Oregon Ranchers Convicted of Arson Resentenced to Five Years in Prison

EUGENE, Ore. – Dwight Lincoln Hammond, Jr., 73, and his son, Steven Dwight Hammond, 46, both residents of Diamond, Oregon in Harney County, were sentenced to five years in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken for arsons they committed on federal lands.

A jury sitting in Pendleton, Oregon found the Hammonds guilty of the arsons after a two-week trial in June 2012. The trial involved allegations that the Hammonds, owners of Hammond Ranches, Inc., ignited a series of fires on lands managed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM), on which the Hammonds had grazing rights leased to them for their cattle operation.

The jury convicted both of the Hammonds of using fire to destroy federal property for a 2001 arson known as the Hardie-Hammond Fire, located in the Steens Mountain Cooperative Management and Protection Area. Witnesses at trial, including a relative of the Hammonds, testified the arson occurred shortly after Steven Hammond and his hunting party illegally slaughtered several deer on BLM property. Jurors were told that Steven Hammond handed out “Strike Anywhere” matches with instructions that they be lit and dropped on the ground because they were going to “light up the whole country on fire.” One witness testified that he barely escaped the eight to ten foot high flames caused by the arson. The fire consumed 139 acres of public land and destroyed all evidence of the game violations. After committing the arson, Steven Hammond called the BLM office in Burns, Oregon and claimed the fire was started on Hammond property to burn off invasive species and had inadvertently burned onto public lands. Dwight and Steven Hammond told one of their relatives to keep his mouth shut and that nobody needed to know about the fire.

The jury also convicted Steven Hammond of using fire to destroy federal property regarding a 2006 arson known as the Krumbo Butte Fire located in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and Steen Mountain Cooperative Management and Protection Area. An August lightning storm started numerous fires and a burn ban was in effect while BLM firefighters fought those fires. Despite the ban, without permission or notification to BLM, Steven Hammond started several “back fires” in an attempt save the ranch’s winter feed. The fires burned onto public land and were seen by BLM firefighters camped nearby. The firefighters took steps to ensure their safety and reported the arsons.

By law, arson on federal land carries a five-year mandatory minimum sentence. When the Hammonds were originally sentenced, they argued that the five-year mandatory minimum terms were unconstitutional and the trial court agreed and imposed sentences well below what the law required based upon the jury’s verdicts. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, however, upheld the federal law, reasoning that “given the seriousness of arson, a five-year sentence is not grossly disproportionate to the offense.” The court vacated the original, unlawful sentences and ordered that the Hammonds be resentenced “in compliance with the law.” In March 2015, the Supreme Court rejected the Hammonds’ petitions for certiorari. Today, Chief Judge Aiken imposed five year prison terms on each of the Hammonds, with credit for time they already served.

Both of the Hammonds have said repeatedly that they do not want these Patriots there and this has been pushed by just a couple of people to the point where it is now.

I do not see good things happening in the near future at this point.
For one thing it is extremely cold in that part of Eastern Oregon right now, it was below zero just a day ago.
That will most certainly play a part in any government response to this.

I'm also pretty sure that the folks at the BLM will most certainly be planning ahead this time.

Innocent Until Proven Guilty, Right?
